Our World Skeet Champion – Bob Larue

Bob LaRue of Kelowna, BC and president of the Central Okanagan Shotgun Sports Club (COSSC), returned this fall from Texas where he compiled an amazing record competing against the best skeet shooters in the world! Bob won a number of medals including the world “senior” Class High Over All Champion and the world “AA” Class High Over All Champion. Eight of Bob’s medals are shown with two more to come! Our first trap field

We had all hands on deck building the walkways in order to complete our first trap field in August of 2018. Our second trap field as well as a new skeet field is scheduled for summer 2019.

Our Club

The Central Okanagan Shotgun Sports Club is the newest shotgun shooting club in British Columbia! This new property is 60 acres and will eventually have 5 Traps, 2 Skeet fields, a 5 Stand layout and 10 Sporting Clay stations. All of this has already been given approval for shooting by the Chief Range Inspector. The first year was spent clearing the land and getting the skeet houses and 1 trap house built and we can shoot either one of these venues now. This summer we will be completing our second Trap field as well as our second Skeet Field. The club will be work in progress for a long time as money, people and equipment is needed to keep moving forward.
