“Clays for a Cause” Sunday, April 28th. North Okanagan Trap and Skeet

Hello Shooters,

Please join us for the NOTSC’s first Charity shoot on Sunday, April 28th at 10 AM (registration 9 AM), raising money for Wounded Warriors Canada.

Our Club member, Bob Harding, is going to be attending the 80th anniversary commemoration of the D-Day landings in Normandy, France as a participant in BBR24 (Battlefield Bike Ride), a major fundraiser for the charity.  Bob and his group will be cycling approx 400 km for 6 days around the area of the city of Caen, where Bob’s uncle, Sergeant David Mills landed on Juno beach on June 6th, 1944 commanding an M7 “priest” as part of the 14th field regiment, RCA. He was killed in action on July 13th during action in the liberation of the city of Caen. Bob will be honouring his uncle’s sacrifice during the ride at his gravesite in the Beny Sur Mer Canadian War cemetery.

To support Bob’s cause, all profits from this shoot will go to the charity.  Wounded Warriors Canada is a nationally recognized charity that assists veterans, first responders, and their families suffering mental issues as a result of their service to us.

If you would like to donate directly to Bob’s ride, please follow this link.

Here is the flyer – join in for the fun and in supporting Bob and the Wounded Warriors of Canada.  Hope to see you on the 28th
