The sun came out and the trap guns showed up for our second Trap Turkey shoot of 2019. We had shooters from Kelowna, Rock Creek and Salmon Arm in attendance. 23 prizes were handed out. Last months big winner, Steve Coutts got off to a slower start Sunday, but managed to get his eye on the target and head home with some prizes and a smile on his face.

These shoots are a fun and relaxed way to test your shooting skills and meet new members of the COSS Club as well as participants from other shotgun shooting clubs in the Okanagan area. If you are new to trap shooting we will gladly introduce you to how the shoots work and get you off to a good, fun start. Once initiated, you’ll find that we can participate in similar shoots at nearby clubs, as our members frequently travel to these other clubs to participate in their events.

Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the fun. Our next Trap Turkey Shoot will be March 24. This will be our last Turkey Shoot until November. We will be shooting trap and skeet regularly on Saturdays and will add shoot days as it warms up in Kelowna.
