Make note in your calendar to come up and join us for some fun and great prizes.

Our calendar now includes dates for our monthly meat shoots. All take place on the 4th Sunday of the month from October to March. The December shoot will be our Annual Boxing Day shoot.

Bob, Greg, Yvonne and Steve were the first to try out the new set up on our second skeet field. More info on our Grand Opening to follow. Both fields will be well used with 3 major tournaments scheduled for next summer. The high house and low house are completed and the new skeet launchers are in place. Time now for some painting and prettying up the place a little.
Thanks to all the members/volunteers and whose efforts and financial contributions made this field a reality. Special thanks for Bob Larue for purchasing the launchers.

Tanya and Christina our newest members came up on Saturday for some shooting lessons. Anyone interested in beginning to shoot trap or skeet is welcome to join us at the club on Saturday or Sunday. Click here for more information on how to get your PAL and an introduction to shotgun sports.

A number of members of Central Okanagan Shotgun Sports Club signed up for the NOTSC Labour Day Classic and four days of shooting in Vernon. In this Squad Pat, Pete and Geoff joined by Kelly from Surrey, B.C.
Greg instructing his daughter who has never shot before. Maddisen is right handed and left eye dominant so Greg taught her left. She nailed the first target and both are pleased with the result.

Lots of work is being done on our second trap field. Pat, Steve and Pete completed the siding installation and all we need now is the roof and installation of the launcher. Paulo and Paulo filled between the walkways with crush and the team is now preparing the area around the walkways and finishing the parking area.
Bob and Greg have been working overtime to get the second skeet to the point where it is ready to have the pads laid out. The boys did a great job. Thanks!

Pat and Duncan finish up on the walls of our new trap house. Thanks to Peter McDonald for the new roof frame and Bob Larue for getting the base in place.
Also many thanks to the volunteers who showed up to finish the walkways for the trap field.
