December 1 Multiplex

We shot on Sunday, the first time I’ve ever shot targets while it was snowing and still a fun day.

A big warm stove keeps us warm between rounds. We are open Saturdays and Sundays during the winter months and shooting usually starts around 10. Greg usually has the stove going by then.

Our next big event will be our Boxing Day TurkeyShoot. You can come up for some practise before then or we’ll see you on the 26th.

Open all winter for Kelowna Trap and Skeet shooters

It all started in April with some significant blasting on site to prepare for out new Skeet field.

This summer we completed a new skeet field as well as another trap field. Now we’re just tidying up a few items before winter comes.

Finishing off a large piece of rock that survived the blasting earlier this year

We will be open all winter for Kelowna skeet and trap shooters on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10:00 am. When it’s cloudy and dull in the valley, quite often you can come up to the club and find yourself above the clouds on a beautiful bright day, great for seeing targets!

Our next Turkey Shoot is November 24 followed by PITA Multiplex on December 1. All are welcome.

Dates for our monthly trap meat shoots now posted

Make note in your calendar to come up and join us for some fun and great prizes.

New Skeet Field For Kelowna Shooters

Bob, Greg, Yvonne and Steve were the first to try out the new set up on our second skeet field. More info on our Grand Opening to follow. Both fields will be well used with 3 major tournaments scheduled for next summer. The high house and low house are completed and the new skeet launchers are in place. Time now for some painting and prettying up the place a little.

Thanks to all the members/volunteers and whose efforts and financial contributions made this field a reality. Special thanks for Bob Larue for purchasing the launchers.

Proud Papa

Greg instructing his daughter who has never shot before. Maddisen is right handed and left eye dominant so Greg taught her left. She nailed the first target and both are pleased with the result.
