Busy day pouring concrete at Central Okanagan Shotgun Sports Club

Today we put the finishing touches on the slab for the clubhouse phase I. This is the culmination of a lot of work on the part of our volunteers: digging for the foundation, compacting the foundation, building the frames, getting them in place then backfilling, bending and tying the rebar, setting up the frames for the sonotubes to support the posts at the front of the building and bending and tying more rebar. This was an exceptional effort on the part of our volunteers. Thanks you all for coming out and getting the job done with great results!

New Look for COSSC

Today we finished up the SeaCan painting project. Thanks to Pat and John for prep work and grinding the rust and to Sheldon Olynyk (a new member this year) for the handiwork with the spray gun. Thanks to Paolo for the use of the spray gun. We got her done before the rain came today and here are a couple of pics. Some of the pics have some rain on the lense. Come up Saturday and see them in the sunshine.
